Apple CEO and co-founder Steve Jobs is on record as saying people no longer read. GOLD MOUNTAIN PRESS was founded to prove him wrong.

We believe readers are waiting for books that respect human intelligence, that are engaging and accessible without being dumbed down. In short, the mission of GOLD MOUNTAIN PRESS is to publish works of fiction and non-fiction that will speak to the human condition, and thereby meet the intelligent reader's wish to be inspired and informed.

"If you build it, he will come," says a character in the film Field of Dreams, based upon the novel "Shoeless Joe," written by Canadian author W. P. Kinsella. GOLD MOUNTAIN PRESS believes this idea relates to literature. If you build better books, people will come, and they will read.
